Tabasco
Excessive heat waves in Louisiana are causing local restaurants to close in the summer, but Tabasco has found a way to encourage exploring Louisiana restaurants while avoiding the heat.
Leveraging Louisiana’s existing Byway system, Tabasco plotted a course through Louisiana that highlights key stops throughout the state, including the Tabasco Headquarters at Avery Island. Participating stops are identified with window stickers and road signs along the way.
Visitors cruising along the byway can grab a passport and receive stamps at each stop to mark their progress. At the end of the byway, they can trade in a fully stamped passport for exclusive Beat the Heat merch.
Also available at every stop along the Byway, is exclusive Blazin’ Byway Sauce- a limited edition Tabasco sauce.
